Hey everyone, I’m so sorry for the troubles the site had today but my amazing host already fixed it, if you have troubles let me know ok??, anyhow just added 150+ pictures from yesterdays’ shootings, enjoy |

When I read an especially poignant and moving artistic reflection by Wilde, or an eloquently devised, symphonic verse by Lord Bryon, I experience the same feeling that I get when I gaze upon this young man’s face. In a way, Chace is the organic signifier for the height of my own aesthetic apprehension – the Greek’s “born in beauty”, Joyce’s aesthetic, spiritual epiphany, Wilde’s “something is born only once one sees it’s beauty” – he is the sum total of the artist’s experience. In looking at him, I am lifted up out of the quotidian and soar above it like I do when reading the works of Wilde, Byron and even Shakespeare.
I wonder if Chace’s beauty is more than skin-deep; if, in talking with him and probing his soul, I would find a man equal or above his physicality – if he is as intelligent, beautiful and creative as his body. I would love to know him – to make him real. While “soaring above” is beautiful, one cannot fly always. If modernism has any value, it is in realizing there is satisfaction in the mundane, in the ordinary imperfections and nuances of reality.
imo
chaces values go beyond the suerficial, he stated he doesnot just go for looks but how a person carries themselves, he comes over to me as valueing confidence above all, i would say his family whilst beautiful have taught their kids that beauty is god given and not to be used for personal gain etc etc, i would say he realises his own looks and the effect that he creates around himslef but he does not need validation of how he looks to be a complete person, this i guess would make him a rounded individual with an appreciation of beauty but understanding that it doesn not make a person good, only nice to look at
just to say these are the most amazing set of pictures, it must have taken you so long to get all these together, it is so appreciated, just wanted to say thanks again
Wow at Countess and jacquie, those were two amazing comments, I really loved the way you both wrote them, I’m speechless
You are very welcome jacquie, I love having every picture I can get, I know it took me a bit but it doesn’t matter
Does anyone know what brand of sunglasses he is wearing in one of the above pics? I HAVE to know! Thanks!
I appreciate Jacquie’s comments as well. A much debated topic in aesthetics and philosophy is the nature of beauty, goodness and truth – I think it was Aquinas who said that beauty is apprehended with the senses, goodness with the soul, and truth with the mind. But I conflate them and argue that beauty without truth and goodness is ugly, and so forth.
That is why I wonder about Chace – what we read is inevitably creative non-fiction as written by marketing, PR reps and managers. I used to work as an Associate Marketing Manager at IBM, and have written “spin’ with the best of them. That is why I doubt – I’ve done the same thing, except with PowerPC Microelectronics. (-:
OMG! This is scary. I was published online at IBM for the Microelectronics Newsletter, which I think has since been taken down. So, I did a search, and found out an instructor used my work as a reference for an instructional course at NYU. So freakin weird.
I’m in the “reference” section here:

cheersthnxalot – the glasses remind me of Tom Fords glasses. I’m not sure it’s that brand but you might want to check TF’s website and see if it’s there.
@ Countess: Congrats on that, I think it must really rewarding to see you listed there huh??
@ cheersthnxalot: I think they might be Ray Ban lol
