Chace Crawford : A little angel?, his character in Gossip Girl is full with virtues but, who's behind the modest Nate Archibald?
No more proofs needed: just look at his naughty face. Although in the TV series (Thursdays at 21:30 in Cosmopolitan TV) he plays the role of a modelic and thoughtful guy, his party nights with cast mate and friend Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl) are the talk abouts of New York tabloids from AM to PM. Despite all this, we wanted to interview him in person just to know if he's as naughty as they say. Conclusion? Chace is such a good guy... and one of the hottest in the world!
Does fame has it risks?
In my case, I have become aware of who my real friends are: when you become famous suddenly everyone wants to spend time with you, so you have to be careful and choose well your company. And when it's time to date girls, is even more dangerous! Sometimes girls confusse me with Nate, my character, and they don't really have interest getting to know me.
Some say night drives you crazy...
But I don't go out that much! New York is one stressful city, besides my job forces me to spend the whole day talking with people. So in my spare time I prefer quiet places. I go to gym everyday, I love playing golf and enjoy reading or watching a good movie in the theatre.
Do you think that the series reflect the reality of New York's Upper East Side?
Not at all! The show is more like a parody, you don't have to take it literally because it exagerates the reality: it offers a very liberal and perverted view, that is not necesarly the rule. I think that if I had childrean I wouldn't allow them to see some of the episodes!
Chace VS Nate "My character always takes the right decision, which can be a bit boring, right? In life you have to take risks! Nate is this undecided character, he never stops fighting for what he thinks he believes in. So we aren't a-like: I'm a less serious guy, I try to take things more lightly and I have a better sense of humor!"
Lovelife
He's been linked to a long list of gorgeous girls: from the imposing Bar Refaeli to his cast mate Taylor Momsen (Jenny in Gossip Girl). But now it seems this 24 year old hunk hasn't get serious with someone. "I like extroveted girls, with sense of humor, but also I like having an interest conversation."
